International Ministry for 2019

Mexico

May 14-20. A Christian book distributor in Mexico has partnered with Poiema Publications of Medellin Colombia, to sponsor Shepherding a Child’s Heart Seminars in Mexico City and other cities in Mexico. Please pray that God would own these seminars. Pray that Dr. Tedd Tripp would have wisdom in teaching the principles of Shepherding a Child’s Heart in a different cultural context. Since this teaching will require translation, pray for insight and facility for those who will translate the teaching.

Financial help is need for the following International Ministries in 2019:

Russia / Siberia

September 17-29. We will minister in Siberia and Russia. We will fly to Moscow, traveling on to Novosibirsk, a Russian city located in western Siberia. We will hold a regional Shepherding a Child’s Heart seminar for Siberian churches on September 20-21 and minister on the Lord’s Day, September 22. Dr. Tripp will teach in the Novosibirsk Seminary September 22-25. Mrs. Tripp will teach ladies during our visit to Siberia.

September 26-29. Dr. Tripp will minister on the topic of childrearing to pastors and leaders at the Ekklesia Leaders Conference in Moscow.Mrs. Tripp will minister to women during this conference as well.

This is a unique ministry opportunity to bring crucial teaching to brothers and sisters in the former Soviet Union. We have accepted this ministry opportunity despite the fact that they are not able to pay for our flights or provide an honorarium. We are asking people who support Shepherding the Heart Ministries to consider prayerfully whether they are able to help us to fund this ministry in Siberia and Russia.We estimate the cost of this ministry will be approximately $5,000.

Japan

November 17-24. We have been invited by CHEA (Church / Home Educators Association), to speak at their annual conference in Japan. We had the opportunity to speak for the 2008 CHEA conference, so we are looking forward to being with them again this fall. CHEA represents a broad spectrum of Japanese Christians who are serious about educating their children in the ways of God – Christian schools, church schools and homeschoolers. Their passion for Christian education is exciting.  CHEA will provide a generous honorarium but we are responsible for airfare that we estimate to be approximately $2500.

We often meet people who express appreciation for the ways Shepherding a Child’s Heart and Instructing a Child’s Heart have impacted their families, so we are bold to ask folks who have benefited from Shepherding the Heart Ministries to prayerfully consider helping us to serve others around the world.
